Chicks today! We do not get to pick them up until 4 pm though.

Called about my printer again this morning and she called me back. She is rushing to try to figure out where it is at and when the shipping time is. I STRESSED to her that timing is essential as I have a trade show this weekend. She was sounding sad on her end and said she would hasten the shipping people as fast as she could.

SO very windy here today. I have not even attempted to light a fire in the woodstove. All the windows and doors are locked to keep them from howling or being blown open. I am quite sure we will have at least another 20 Poplar trees down by this evening, probably all across fences.

Got a called about my press status during the writing of this post and it will be here early next week. *SIGH* To console myself about the press, I called on my trout for our pond. The friend I am calling about them is in a meeting, but her secretary took a message. So now onto calling the hardware store for sheeting for the greenhouse. Cool..two phone calls later, I got some UV treated sheeting as that is all in my budget for this year, at 32’ wide and it comes on rolls so you can get as much or as little as you like. Better yet, it is even at the place I am picking up the baby chicks at. Actually I am getting ahead of myself as the frame needs to be build first before we get the sheeting. I just got the logs peeled.

Between the mundane house chores, I am putting finishing coats of weatherproofing on our road and gate signs, since it is kind of an ugly day to be working outside. I can’t wait to start blacksmithing again so I can make a hanger for the sign and a boot scraper for outside the mudroom door.“Kid” needed his hair cut and after someone telling someone I do cut hair, it then turned into that ‘she has clippers and can buzz cut’ to 3 guys lined up at my kitchen chair and I think I gave 3 guys haircuts in about 1 minute 30 seconds flat!

Got a phone call. Press supposed to be here tomorrow ! YIPPPEEE!!!
