After coming home a few days ago and almost passing out from the disaster and stench of my poor home with 3 'boys' living here, I told them when I got home I was going to chuck anything not nailed down, out the front door, including them, clean the house and bring back everything slowly.
They must have thought I was serious as the house was clean within reason when I got home last night. So I started on the outside of the house since we are having serious meltdown here and as soon as you get off the porch we have 40 acres of quagmire. I almost could not get up the driveway with my truck to get to the house as the logging truck had the driveway so torn up as he almost could not make it up the roadway. That means it is SERIOUS mud if the tri-drive was having issues.. That is why the trucks are not allowed on the roadways as they get torn up. So now there are road bans on. I took everything that had been hidden by snow or left on the front porch off and put in the appropriate places or the firepit. Started to find my flagstones again and will probably work on the rock patio tomorrow. I figure I need 12 truckloads of slate for the projects I hope to have done before August.
"S" just called, she is at home now. Eating the salad and dressing I had left her as per her request. She likes me to make it as she says she can never get it right.. and I just eyeball it when I toss ingredients in.
